As America’s third largest state, ranking up 29 electoral votes, it remains one of the most influential swing states.  Without Florida, George Bush would not have beaten Al Gore to the White House in the 2000 election.  It consists of great diversity, serving as the nation’s oldest state, but also home to a growing population of foreigners.  The population difference evenly splits the state politically, with the 2012 election showing 50% Democrat and 49.1% Republican.

57 year old Mike Pence Indiana governor is running with Trump as his vice president.  Originally a Democrat, Pence shifted to Republican after his conversion to born-again Christianity.  With more experience than Clinton’s VP, he has been in office for fifteen years.  Considered Trump’s safe choice, Pence does not partake in Trump’s negative campaigning and unfiltered speech.
